The Wonder Years

The 2 terms of this
President should be known
As "The Wonder Years".
Wondering what he will or will not condone.

Every time you turn around,
He's done something else.
He issues vetoes and executive orders
That make no sense except to himself.

Our Allies get upset because he
Spied on them, and when they go
To him in counsel on world problems,
He seems uncertain of what he should do.

Then there are a number
Of scandals occurring on his watch.
People from his first term leave--
Feeling their cause is lost.

Everyone in the country
Wonders what's coming next.
When a general is killed in Afganistan--why
Can't he spare vacation time to see him laid to rest?

Whatever your race,
Whatever your gender--
If you're not qualified,
Politics you should not enter.
