Faith can move mountains,
Love can restore faith.
Both are needed here on earth,
Not in outer space.
They can make a difference
In our world beset with war.
Countries ravaged with disease,
Helping each other, near and far.
Some countries leaders
Refuse help and isolate themselves.
Or add to the violence problems by invasion
And killing--turning others lives into living hells.
Faith and perseverance are what
God tells us to have for all--
It's too bad the ones with hatred can't accept
The differences and not persecute and blow up walls.
If we all could come together,
No matter what culture or beliefs--
And find our common ground,
We could have a world of peace.
