Black And White?

Some people only see
Things in black and white.
Like the brightness of day,
And the darkness of night.

Some people see only
Evil or Good.
They pray to God
And do as they should.

Some people see
Greed and money as power.
How it is acquired,
Is the question of the hour.

Some people will tell you
To do things their way,
And if you don't--
You cannot stay.

Some will hate you for who
You are and what you believe.
Politics or religion,
Everyone disagrees.

Politicians mud sling
Every election year.
You're never sure if
You can believe what you hear.

Most religions we know of
Want peace and to help mankind.
They don't condone war and murder--
That idea came from the human mind.

Not everything is black and white.
God gave us freedom of choice.
And a spectrum of color for each,
We should work together and rejoice.

Instead we waste His gift,
With battles and hate.
It's not black and white--
Can we change before it's too late?
