Politicalese

Politicians talk for hours,
But really have nothing to say.
They are ambiguous in their answers,
Because they don't have a strategy to put in play.

Our allies aren't quite sure
If they can trust our government leaders.
Because they keep changing their minds, and it's hard
To keep up with the changes for poll readers.

The language they speak is politicalese--
They speak it fluently and with ease.
They'll talk around your questions,
Or blow them off with no attempt to appease.

All we want are leaders
Who work for US.
And speak plain English--
Leaders we can trust.

No scandals or laws broken, no disgrace
Or shame to be brought to light.
Just a government we can be proud of--
That causes reconciliation, not division and fights.
