H A T E

Hate is a strong emotion,
And there is too much in this world.
Civil and religious wars--
Rocks and bricks are hurled.

Just because someone looks
Or sounds different than you,
It's not a reason to hate them--
They're human beings too.

Making fun of another culture
Is a cruel thing to do.
You'd be upset if someone
Did that to you.

No one is better
Than anyone else--
Instead of judging or hating others--
First judge yourself.

Bullies are bullies,
No matter their age.
School kids or grownups,
They use hatred as a gauge.

How much can they torture you,
Or use you as a doormat.
There are times to stand up for yourself
And say "No, I won't take that".

The haters need to learn
That they are not in charge.
And opposition to their hatred
Is very strong and large.
