If you came upon Jesus
Here on earth one day,
Would you pass Him by--
Or would you stay?
Would you fall to your knees
And thank Him for saving your soul?
Or tremble in fear because of
The story your life will have told?
Would you be so in awe
That you'd just stand and stare?
Or would you thank Him
For all of your answered prayers?
Would you ask for proof
That He really is Christ?
Or notice the wounds in His hands and feet,
And know He's the one that paid the price?
The Bible says that we
"Entertain angels unaware",
We may not see Him--
But Jesus is there.
The second coming is when
Jesus will come back.
The dead in Christ shall rise, and the chosen
Will be taken where ever they're at.
The purpose of this poem,
Was to make you stop and think.
Be sure you're ready for Christ to come--
It will happen faster than an eye can blink.
