Angel On My Shoulder

I have an angel on my shoulder,
And I'm so glad she's there.
I'm sure she deserves hazard pay,
And maybe respite care.

She helps me choose the right things,
And helps me stay aware--
Of the course to travel
And the dangers to beware.

She has a sense of humor,
With me you know she needs one.
And even though I'm sarcastic--
She helps me hold my tongue.

She reminds me God is always there
When I need him--
His love is steadfast and true.
The light of His grace never dims.

We all have angels on our shoulders,
Make sure you get to know them.
They're important to your life--
God's messengers from Heaven.
