And all things fine.
China and crystal
Used on special occasions to dine.
Chandeliers for lighting,
Or maybe just candles.
A silver tea service,
And a chafing dish with fancy scrolled handles.
Pretty flower bouquets here and there,
Linen napkins and tablecloths.
Pretty gowns and tuxes--
Enough fine jewelry to make your eyes pop.
Music played softly,
On a stereo or by a band.
Slow dance if you want to,
Clasping each others' hands.
It may be a wedding reception,
Or a charity ball---
A fancy dinner party,
Or did you dream it all?
