There are those who are dreamers,
And those who are not.
They scoff at the dreamers
And their every thought.
Some dreamers aren't realistic--
That's true,
But the ones who are--
Think of what they could do.
They need encouragement
From family and friends,
Without that they can feel
Insecure and their dream ends.
Philanthropist or scholar--
Even children who just want to help--
Some kids these days are wise beyond their years,
And think of others--not just their self.
Dreamers can attain their dreams
If they just perservere --
Our forefathers were dreamers,
That's why this country is here.
To make the dream real,
You must put God first.
He'll guide you and help you--
Your ideas need to be nursed.
Like a small plant that grows,
Your dream gains momentum,
And becomes reality--
Making the neigh sayers feel dumb.
If it weren't for dreamers,
Where would civilization be today?
No technology or companies,
No new ideas on display.
Make sure your dream
Will help mankind--
To stand up to bullies,
And cures for diseases together we'll find.
Save rain forests and animals--
Even if you feel you're a small part,
Stay strong and motivated because
The tiniest glimmer is where dreams start.
