Don't Give Up

An angel whispered in my ear today,

And verified it's true--

Keep fighting, don't give up,

God has plans for you.



You may not understand them,

You may want to throw in the towel--

That's when he's working his hardest,

So don't complain and howl.



The Lord loves all his creations--

And guess what--that includes you.

Life is never easy, at it's worst

He's told you what to do.



Ask for his help and guidance,

He's right beside you everyday,

And in yur darkest hour--

He'll listen and carry you as you pray.



Some don't believe in God,

And sadly that's their right.

But knowing the Lord has my back,

Helps me in my fight.



So when you're sad and weary--

Just give it to God,

Feel his love wrap around you,

And give him your love and laud.
