The hippies wanted it in the 60's--
We thought they were stoned and crazed,
Now in this century,
It's something we all crave.
People coexisting peacefully,
No matter their beliefs--
The only judging to be done
Is for murderers and thiefs.
No harm done to children--
Or animals just for sports.
Honesty in everything--
No kangaroo courts.
Everyone follows the laws,
Including each country's leaders.
No more shootings in schools,
Malls or movie theaters.
No more wars at home,
Or on foreign soil--
No kickbacks or deals,
While others toil.
All people of the world
Want to live peacefully,
Feed and clothe their families--
And know no danger only safety.
A Christmas Wish For The Ages--
And all the year through.
I know I'd love it--
Wouldn't you?
