I remember growing up and watching the Miss America Pageant. When it came to the final contestants answering a question, it was always "what is your one wish?" Almost all of them said "World Peace." The audience would always laugh. Now it's the main topic in the news, keeping the world at peace. Maybe the repetition of the answer in the pageant was funny, but the topic never has been. All through the years and still now, that is everyone's main concern. Long held hatred and disrespect and greed don't do anything except cause war and demolish the cultures and people and land they say they want to protect. Just because someone looks, sounds, or believes differently does not mean you can judge them. The Bible says "Thou shalt not judge. " If someone does something illegal and you have evidence to prove it--they should be arrested and tried in a court of law, and then be judged guilty or not guilty. That is our judicial system. God will be the persons final judge. Even if the person is found not guilty, God knows what they did and didn't do. If people would just stop disrespecting and harming each other and would put their prejudice and hatred aside and talk to each other with open minds and ACTUALLY listen to what is being said, then they could possibly agree on treaties--so that no one else has to die and homes can be rebuilt and families reunited. But they have to have OPEN MINDS AND ACTUALLY LISTEN. You can learn a lot if you do that. World Peace is what everyone wants. It's not funny.
