LOSS

 Lord, help me feel your love and comfort around me. I've lost someone I love.                                                                   Your angels came and took him to your home above. 

Sometimes the grief hits you harder than others.                                                     This is one of those times,  it almost makes you smother.

I remember all the good times, the laughter and teasing.                                    I know it always happens,  I just never thought of him leaving. 

All of his family is hurting, Lord. And in shock.                                                              No one ever knows when someone's life clock will stop.

Lord, we need your love and comfort around us all, we've lost someone we love.                                                                  Please show us your love and comfort as the song says "on the wings of a dove".

We know he's reunited with those who've gone before,                                    and he's no longer hurting, we know we'll see him once more.
