LIFE TAPESTRY

Each individual person's life is stitched together with threads of love, sadness, joy, and sometimes even anger and fear. The threads are made up of events in that person's life and how they dealt with them. The threads also contain parts of that person's generation. They weave into a tapestry that is different from each person.  None are alike. Even family members will be different because they have had different experiences in life. They may be similar in some areas, but not exactly the same. Each tapestry is intricate. People who go through the same thing at the same time have different ways of reacting to it. Things happen in your life you have no control over, so there is no way to influence how your life tapestry looks. Some tapestries may be in bold, vibrant colors,  while others may be neutrals or pastels. That doesn't mean one has had a better life then the other, only that people have different ways of going through life. Some may have more threads of one kind than another. Your tapestry starts the day you're born and ends the day you die. I pray that somewhere in your tapestry the threads show God is part of your life. As you go along, the threads may get a little worn and your tapestry threadbare, but it will not come undone. Try your best to keep the stain of evil off of it. Make sure it shows your kindness,  empathy, and care for others.  Make sure the threads are genuine and authentic--nothing false.
