MOONLIGHT AND SNOW

The beautiful moon shines a silvery light,                                          On the blanket of snow we got the other night.

It makes the scene look like something from a dream.                   Quiet and still, the world covered in whip cream.

In this shining moment,  no hatred  or war,                                      No violence at all, only peace at the door.

No shouting of racism,  no wails of   distress,                                       Peace for the world is our only request.

The serenity of the moonlit snow,    Should be echoed everywhere you go.

It's not pipe dreams or fairy tales, only prayers.                                        And wishes. Hatred is  everyone's   burden to bear.

Destroying each other, no one wins, we all lose.                                 Peace and serenity for all is what we must choose.
