A bright shining star showing the way
To the humble stable where Baby Jesus lay.
Angels singing praises, spreading the news.
Wise men bringing gifts to pay tribute .
Services in churches on Christmas Eve and Day,
To celebrate our Lord and Savior's birthday.
Families come together to celebrate and reconnect,
Children getting up to see if Santa's come yet.
Decorations of red and green: mistletoe, garlands and wreaths.
A tree decorated with ornaments with presents underneath.
Carolers singing Christmas hymns and carols door to door.
Houses decorated with so many lights you could see them from Mars.
Children playing in the snow, snow forts and snow angels in the yard.
Snowball fights where even the adults Let down their guard.
Remembering those who are no longer here-
A special dish or Favorite Carol brings them near.
Santa and his sleigh with reindeer loaded with elf made toys.
Thanking God for His precious gift of His only baby boy.
These are different scenes of Christmas, there are others too.
