I feel anger and heartbreak when I hear of a child or pet that's been neglected or abused.
There is no valid reason or plausible excuse.
To abuse and neglect a child and watch them suffer with no regrets--
You must be dead inside, the same goes for animals and pets.
Some even do it to elderly relatives, they just can't deal.
They run away and disappear when life gets too real.
They always hurt or bully those who have no voice to protest.
We must be their voice to spread the word and protect.
No one deserves this kind of treatment, especially from those who are supposed to love them.
They get scared and confused--even animals, you can't imagine.
You reap what you sow. One day you'll be hungry, injured, cold and alone.
Remember how you treated others, too little, too late--but then you'll know.
