Can you help me understand Lord, why people that have ears to hear don't listen?
People who have eyes to see only see the bad things and not the good?
Why people who can build others up and encourage them, only tear them down and destroy their self-esteem?
Why do people belittle those who help others with food, shelter or clothes when they have none?
Why do the people who should have your back, instead stab you in it?
Why do people get a thrill setting others up for failure?
Why do people who have been friends for years suddenly decide they no longer want to be friends and don't tell the other people--just stop speaking to them and avoid them? When asked, they just say they've moved on.
Maybe I'm just dense Lord, but I don't understand how people can do cruel things to one another and not have it on their conscience. Maybe they have no conscience and just don't care.
That is sad not only for them, but for the people they hurt.
HELP THIS WORLD TO HAVE EARS THAT HEAR AND LISTEN, EYES THAT ALSO SEE THE GOOD, AND ALWAYS HELP ONE ANOTHER.
