Another Christmas season has come to a close. Now people are hitting the stores in droves.
Gifts they don't like, don't fit, or got duplicates of, they want to return post-haste. But beware, stores have a new policy.
You can still return things--but YOU have to pay the store a fee for whatever you return. No matter how loyal a customer, you have to pay money.
Some people's whole thing about Christmas shopping is being able to return things and get money back. Some even feel it's an adventure.
But this year--having to pay to return something takes the fun out of it. To pay a fee to return something you've already bought? Who came up with this?
Maybe this will make people realize the most precious gifts aren't expensive, or trendy, or a famous brand. Gifts that are personal and straight from the heart are.
Whether it's hand-made, a painting or crayon drawing from a child--or a small trinket that holds special meaning between the giver and receiver, it says it all.
Have a wonderful 2023!
