CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN?

 Can someone please explain without adding political mudslinging and vulgarities why we're in the mess our country is in today?  Why do most people feel that violence is the only way to get their opinions across?  And why are some people so close minded they make them feel that way?  Freedom of speech does not mean you have to spread hate speech, especially when you don't know all the true facts.  You may have the freedom to say it, but make sure you have all the true facts--NOT rumors, and know that you don't have to spread hate, anger, and violence towards others.  And what is going on with all the mass shootings?  People are being murdered at their workplaces, grocery stores, schools, and churches.  And HOW in the world did a 6 yr. old get a gun and shoot their teacher leaving her in critical condition because they were reprimanded in class?  Where were the child's parents?  Why leave a gun where the child could get it?  And what is that family's history that the child was able to do it?  You need to give your child discipline.  That doesn't mean physically, verbally, and emotionally abusing them.  That means teaching them right from wrong, giving them rules to live by and that there will be consequences for any choices they make that are wrong.  DON'T threaten them, just make sure they do what they're supposed to and to make sure they think before they act because they need to be aware of what could happen.  And just because everyone is doing something, they don't have to.  As for the 2nd Amendment, no one is trying to take away the freedom to bear arms.  It means God gave us brains to know that everyone does not need an assault weapon--and children should not have access to guns at any age.  We need to protect people by restricting the types of guns allowed to people.  You don't need a military assault weapon to go hunting, but you can still have a hunting rifle.  We all need to control our tempers, use the commonsense God gave us, help those who have problems:  physically, mentally, and emotionally and make this truly "ONE NATION UNDER GOD",
