Mac Davis: "I Believe In Music, I Believe In Love", Ray Stevens: Everything Is Beautiful", Jackie Deshannon: "What The World Needs Now Is Love Sweet Love", The Beatles: "All You Need Is Love", Live Aid: "We Are The World", Louis Armstrong: "What A Wonderful World", Diana Ross: "Reach Out And Touch Somebody's Hand", The New Seekers: "I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing".
All the above songs were written about love, music, and making the world a better place. There are probably some I haven't listed. but it shows most people want to make the world better for everyone. Why do we need anger, hate, and violence? I know just singing some songs won't do it alone, but it's a start. Live Aid raised money with music artists doing a music video and recording and the proceeds fed starving children in Africa.
If we could spread God's word, show His love and kindness to others as well as music, it would be wonderful. Everyone loves music--different types, but music none the less. It's not easy or simple, nothing worthwhile ever is. But I'd say getting rid of hate, violence, greed, and war would be a good place to begin. I may sound naive, but people have changed things with less to work with.
