Multi-color strings of lights shine everywhere in town. Green garlands with big red bows are wrapped around trees and light poles, even traffic lights are red and green.
Driving around to see holiday lights on houses or go to events to find gifts. Take the kids to holiday specials for the city and at schools. Carefully decorating your own tree with popcorn, cranberries, and ornaments that glow like jewels.
Every country has their own way to celebrate. Each generation does Christmas with traditions handed down for centuries. According to their traditions, they have all different kinds of food and pastries. Some have beautiful Menorahs to light instead of Christmas trees.
Some people go caroling, others take gifts to shut ins. Some churches have kids do Christmas plays or sing in a choir. Some have Christmas Eve Services, others--midnight mass. Some families read The Night Before Christmas while others read the story of Christ's birth from the Bible. Some have angels in their decorations, and some use stars to honor the Christmas Star.
Everyone celebrates in their own way. Just always remember: JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON.
