What do you do when the tears won't come?
Held back by an invisible dam that won't be over run.
You need a good, hard cry for the tension to release,
Only then will you feel a little peace.
Days, months, and years of problems God has guided you through.
Talking to God is the best help there is, sometimes a good cry is needed too.
We're all human, no one is immune--
If we have no feeling and compassion, we're doomed.
Pray for peace and sanity and strength to finish the race.
God is in charge, He's our solid rock, our base.
He does things in His time, not in ours--He always comes through.
Just remember to trust Him whatever you do.
And when the tears do come--eventually they do,
He's right there to comfort you.
He has love and grace sufficient for all,
We just have to tear down our walls.
