I know a man--a good Christian man, somewhat quiet--
He loves the Lord and helps others whenever he
Can. He's not perfect, no one is--but he's well liked by
Those who know him. He's not famous, not a celebrity.
Not long ago, he was diagnosed with cancer at Stage 2.
Unfortunately before they could organize surgery or a treatment
Plan, the cancer kept growing and spread to other areas. He's now in
Hospice. Everyone asks "why him?" He is waiting for the Angels God will send.
Lately he has developed a great likiing for root beer floats. The rest of
The world is going crazy, and this man who is waiting for God to take
Him home, is having root beer floats. He knows that eternal life with
God is waiting, he isn't fearful, doesn't shake.
While we down here will mourn him, we at least know the
Cancer will be no more. No pandemic either. He'll be resting on
Heaven's peaceful shore. No one can replace him, there's only one
Of him. And take his word, the best root beer floats are in Heaven.
