Have you ever been made to feel
Your entire life to be a mistake?
Have people you thought were friends
Distanced themselves or think you're weak?
When you try to help someone--
Do they throw it back in your face?
When in a crowd or an event, do you
Feel like a big disgrace?
Has anyone in your family ever told you
Your birth was a mistake? Do people
Tell you what to do, yet they know nothing
About the struggles of your life?
People say talk to someone to help to help
Get you through,but some say just get over it,
Or worse, blow you off saying you're a whiner or
Playing a victim, when all you want is help with
The emotional pain incurred. Some may see you
As gullible or weak, but actually--you're strong
Because you're a survivor. Always remember that.
As for you being a mistake, God never makes
Them, only people do. Some more than others.
