GIFT GIVING

Have you ever been moved to tears, or
Rendered speechless by the sheer beauty
Of this home God created for us?  No one
Can match or surpass His artistry.

He created the most majestic oceans, seas, and
Mountains and Plains.  He created the vast
Spectrum of colors, and different seasons
Because He wanted to show His love for us.

He did the same when He created us and gave
Us life.  He gave us all the potential and
Perseverance we'd need to make it through life.
And He is always with us to take our hand.

In the same way that some humans are
Destroying natural habitats and cause
Pollution, and bring creatures close to
Extinction--we disobey God's laws.

We reject Him and waste all the gifts
He's given us because we think we know
Better than God.  That makes Him sad.
But He never stops loving us, He's always true.

God has done all of this as His gift
To us.  What have any of us done
As our gift to Him?  Just do our best,
Follow God, be kind and don't judge anyone.
