Lord, please shine your light of
Love and peace on this world.
Let people be kind and respect one
Another--no more racist comments hurled.
Humans are their own worst enemy.
Some get enjoyment by humiliating
And manipulating others to do their
Will. And that is usually the wrong thing.
People mock, bully, and reject others--
Then don't understand why some are driven
To kill innocent people just to show they're
Tough and don't care about living.
Lord, we need You, the Bible and prayer
Back in our schools. Unbelievers can
Always do something else while those who
Believe are able to worship without ban.
People need to learn tolerance
And patience. No one is perfect,
Anyone who thinks they are--
Is very definitely incorrect.
If you give your best self
To others--good things will
Come to you in return, as well
As you'll feel better about yourself.
