ROXETTE

I have a dear friend named Roxie,
We make each other laugh constantly.
The way the world is going, everyone
Needs someone like that occasionally.

We offer emotional support to
Each other, that's on the list of must
Haves.  Besides her husband Bobby--
The Rock is her object of lust.

We talk each other through our
Problems when we're feeling sad.
She's my birthday twin, same month and
Day, different year--the same as our mothers had.

She had a slight stroke recently--
So she has to behave.  That may
Bring on another one--she's so very
Ornery every single day.

I've asked God to help her, and I
Know He will.  He loves her too.
And Darlene, Dylan and Bobby's mom
Will make sure she minds her P's and Q's.
