The air is a little warmer,
Trees are budding, grass is green.
Flowers are starting to bloom--
Does that mean it's Spring?
These are usually the signs
That Spring is here--but Winter
Sometimes takes a parting shot and
Dumps ice or snow on all that color.
Eventually though, the Spring
Season gets to come and stay.
Sunshine and bird songs
Always beat cloudy and gray.
If you don't believe in
God and miracles--open your
Eyes. Flowers and trees dead
All Winter come alive with color.
If that's not a miracle--
I don't know what is. They
Don't have to be big miracles--
They show up in different ways.
