What is wrong with people today?
They're always in a hurry to get somewhere--
They act and drive like maniacs,
Not giving other's safety a care.
The world won't end if you're not on time.
But people could be injured or killed
By someone's impatience and stupidity,
Because they're in a hurry and won't yield.
Just on the news tonight, some fool couldn't
Sit in traffic while school buses were
Unloading children. So the fool drives on the
Sidewalk--nearly hitting kids because they're in a hurry.
Somewhere else, a man was standing outside
Smoking. A family came up, and Mom went
Into a store, shopping. They asked him politely
Not to smoke around their kids, no other comment.
The man took offense and when the Mom,
Who was pregnant came out--he ran her
Down and killed her. And then ran down the
Rest of the family--they were only injured.
Then there's the woman who ran off from
A beauty salon without paying.
The owner and her husband tried to stop her.
She ran down the owner killing her to avoid paying.
People are getting more arrogant and
Aggressive as each day goes by.
Where's their common sense? What makes
Them more important than others, and why?
