DOCTOR'S WAITING ROOMS

I know when most people go to a
Doctor, they are concerned and ill.
And the last thing they care about
Is a decorator's skills.

The waiting room may be lovely--
Color coordinated, pleasing to the eye.
But the chairs in the waiting room
Aren't ergonomically designed.

You can't understand why your
Back hurts when you've never
Had a problem--those chairs may
Help with overhead, a worthy endeavor.

And most waiting rooms have
Signs that say if you've been
Waiting at least 30 minutes to
See the Dr.--notify reception.

However, if you happen to notice--
There are never any clocks
Hanging on the walls as decoration.
Only watches and cell phones have clocks.

This is just an odd observation
That I have made
While sitting in Dr.'s offices
Having to wait.
