WORLD WISHES

If all the wishes we all could
Wish were able to come true--
Some people's wishes would turn
Out to be the same as other's too.

Everyone wants world peace.
No one likes to fight a war.
And I'm sure several would wish we
Would be able to stop diseases with cures.

No more Alzheimer's, no cancer in any
Form, no diabetes or heart disease--
No ALS, MS or need for Labor Day
Telethons for Muscular Dystrophy.

Solve the problems of society--
No need for violence, vandalism,
Or any type of abuse.  No need
For robbery or home invasions.

Everyone would have food to eat.
Clothes to wear and a roof over
Their heads and a warm bed in which
To sleep.  No more boxes for cover.

People who are mentally ill would
Be able to get the help they need.
Or we could add that wish to the
One that cures all types of disease.

If everyone in the world's wishes
Would really come true--
The wishes of the many,
Would definitely help the few.
