Two friends of mine recently
Had their first baby--a boy.
It's truly wonderful to see their
Love for him, their pride and joy.
Everyone has waited for this
Special delivery. Anticipation
Built as the due date got closer.
Now he's the focus of all attention.
There is no doubt that he'll
Be surrounded by love.
He is a precious gift asked for
And delivered by God above.
He'll grow into a fine young
Man. Taught to love animals
And show kindness to others, with a
Touch of mischief from his Dad and Grandpa.
