SNICKERDOODLE

Snickerdoodle was a tiny fairy
That lived in a gingerbread house.
She was friends with all sorts of
Creatures--even a mouse.

She'd walk through her little
House, doing her daily chores.
When done, she'd go to rest on
Her sugar cookie patio outdoors.

Usually when she'd go somewhere,
She'd fly using her own wings.
But if tired, her hummingbird friends
Would take her for rides, especially in Spring.

Snickerdoodle loved the scents and colors
Of all the plants and flowers.
When her friend Tinkerbell visits,
They talk about it for hours.

When winter comes, she burns
Cinnamon sticks to keep her
Warm and make the house smell
Nice.  She makes sure her friends have shelter.

Snickerdoodle is related to the
Woodland Fairies, and they all
Get together at Christmas and
Have the Fairies Ball.

They laugh, they dance, and
Have plenty of good food.
But they always remember what Christmas
Is about--which some humans don't do.

They remember Christ's birth
In a manger full of hay.
That is the real reason to
Celebrate Christmas Day.
