Life has no guarantee that
There will never be tears.
Or problems that come up
And fill you with fear.
It gives you a chance
To build roads between
People where there are none.
To show what a little kindness can bring.
It also helps you see who
Your real friends are--and
To burn bridges that connect to
Toxic people that won't lend a hand.
Life also shows you that
God is alive and that He
Is always by your side.
His love is the key.
There are always times
That people shed tears--
But remember that
God is always near.
