WRITING

Have you ever wished you could
Write a song, poem, or an article
That would not only convey a message--
But touch people's hearts--every particle?

We've all heard or read something
That touches us this way--
Someone does the music and another
The lyrics--or one does both, feelings conveyed.

Some people write books that
Capture our imaginations.
They can be based on facts,
Or be pure, enjoyable fiction.

There are writers who compose
Articles about the human condition,
Or tell stories of everyday heroes
That can fill us with inspiration.

All of the above are better
Than vulgar stories and
Words that offend.  Hate speech
Does no good, it needs to end.
