MY BEST FRIEND

I have a best friend,
He's always by my side.
He's also my Lord and Savior--
His name is Jesus Christ.

He guides me through life's
Problems--sometimes carrying me.
I know He'll always be there,
And He loves me unconditionally.

He always has time to listen,
And He comforts me when I cry.
I know I can always trust Him--
Because for my sins He died.

I'm not perfect by a long shot,
No one really is--
But accept Him as your Savior,
And acknowledge you are His.

Today is Easter Sunday,
The day that He arose--
From the tomb where they laid Him,
As the prophets always told.

He's still alive today--GOD
IS NOT DEAD!  He is constant
And loving.  He asks us to follow
His teachings and the 10 Commandments.

He is also compassionate, when
Someone passes--He sends an Angel
To guide them, so no one goes alone.
Their pain and suffering gone, all is well.

My best friend would love to
Meet you, if He doesn't already.
He brings light and hope into your life--He
Won't turn His back on you, He's constant and steady.

Don't turn your back on Him
For something you think is better.
God is the most important thing in
Your life--don't be a quitter.

Always remember:  When you
Are down to nothing--
God is up to something.
And it's always good.
