DID YOU THANK GOD?

You wake up in the morning,
Feeling well, or with minor
Aches and pains--but alive.
Did you thank God in prayer?

For all the times He's
Come through for your
Family and friends--
Did you thank God in prayer?

For every time He's guided
You through worries and cares--
Had you turned them over to Him,
And then thanked God in prayer?

When you see that there are
Still good people who care
In this world--did you thank
God in prayer?

You have a roof over your
Head, a place to sleep, food
To eat, and a job--did you thank
God in prayer for being so good?

Even though you may not be able
To do the things you used to--
Did you thank God in prayer
For the things you CAN do?

When you thank the Military, EMS,
Firemen and Police and Hospital staff
For their service to the community--
Do you thank God for them, or pass?

God is always there to help you,
In ways we may not even know.
Say a prayer and thank Him.
Let your faith and gratitude show.
