Mary's little boy child was born
On a starry night in Bethlehem.
He was born in a stable, laid in a manger--
Because there were no rooms at the inn.
A choir of angels announced
The birth to shepherds watching their
Flocks, and told them their Savior was
Born- there was no reason to fear.
Three men from different lands
Followed a bright shining star
To the place where Jesus lay--
Bringing, gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
Centuries have passed, leaders
Come and gone--but we still follow
The man born in Bethlehem's stable.
The Son of God, our hope for tomorrow.
Not in a galaxy far away--
No Storm Troopers with light
Sabers, just a manger on a
Quiet Bethlehem night.
