I have a dear friend,
Her name is Roxie.
Her smarts, looks and wit earned
Her the nickname "Foxy Roxie".
She and her family have
Been going through trials,
Though upset and tearful--
She still has her smile.
Her love and kindness
To others always shines
Through for them to see.
She never oversteps the line.
She has a crush on Dwayne
"The Rock" Johnson, but her
Hubby doesn't worry--he knows
He has her heart forever.
Their kids are their
Pride and joy---
They had one of each,
A girl and a boy.
Sadly, the boy is no longer
With us--that's one of their
Many trials. They always pay honor
To his memory, including his little sister.
So please remember not to
Judge others--they may be
Struggling too. A kind word
Or gesture may be what they need.
