PRAYERS FOR LONDON

Centuries ago, we fought against
Them to gain our freedom.
Now a staunch ally of ours--
We send prayers to London.

They were going about their day,
When terrorists decided to attack.
Sadly, in this day and age--
This is one of life's facts.

People who want to spread
Hatred--don't care who or
How many they kill.  They may
Win battles--but won't win the war.

Their hatred is an all-consuming
Disease for those who differ
From their ways, cultures and
Beliefs.  Even their own people suffer.

Every country must stay alert and
Ready to fend off any and all attacks.
Each country's citizens can't stop living
Their lives-we must all have each other's backs.

So we send love and prayers
To London, for those who were
Injured and those who died.  Our
Determination to stop terrorists is stronger.
