UNDERSTANDING?

There are so many things in this
World we don't understand.
Some because of Nature--
Some because of Man.

Some of us have problems
With different places climates.
We struggle and struggle--
And still can't adapt.

Or why take away the beauty
Of the landscapes God made--
And build businesses or parking lots just
Because someone wants more money to make.

Native Americans lived as one
With the land, can't we take
A lesson from them and what we
Destroy, we replace?

We can still have progress,
If we forget about greed.
And leave places untouched--
With beauty and fresh air to breathe.

Wildfires that burn everything down,
Droughts that kill crops and make
Rivers disappear.  Then heavy rains
With water and mud taking all in it's wake.

Everyone thinks that their
Side is in the right--
All they do is protest
And have fights.

We all need to come
Together as one--
And work to do what's
Best for everyone.
