LORD, HEAR MY PRAYER

First Lord, I want to thank
You for all of the blessings You
Have given me in my life.
You know what I need before I do.

Thank You for always being there
With me through good times
And bad.  You always bring me
Through the storms--every time.

Lately Lord, I have felt depressed,
And like I'm turned inside out
Emotionally.  In my depression,
I feel alone--and fighting doubt.

I have dear friends and family,
But they have their own lives
And I don't want to drive them
Away talking about my strifes.

Please read the prayers in my
Heart, soul and mind.  Others
Have things far worse than I do.  I just
Need encouragement for myself and my mother.

Sometime I just need a hug or
A hand to hold--someone to
Lean on a bit when I am weary.
You are my rock--I turn to You.

Help me to be strong and never forget
You're there with me.  Never to
Forget You read my heart and will
Always help me.  Let my faith grow stronger in You.

Help me to work harder to be a better    
Person and a better Christian, and
To uplift others when I can--You're
The rock upon which I stand.

Be with those who are ill or have
Lost loved ones.  Be with our Military
And Law Enforcement as they put their
Lives on the line for the people of this country.

Now please fill me with your peace,
And remind me not to worry over
What I can't control--and that
You're handling my problems forever.
