In this crazy world we
Live in today, where
Would we be without
True, loving friends being there?
Some have family that supports
Them--some don't. Some are
Lucky enough to have both. Without
Their support we wouldn't get far.
Sometimes the most important
Thing you can do is be there.
Sit with them at the hospital while
A loved one is ill and wait to hear.
Hold their hand or give them a
Hug--words aren't always necessary.
Just show them you're there to help
Shoulder the burden they carry.
Emotional support is wonderful.
Even just a call or e-mail to say hi--
Can brighten someone's day. Sometimes
Care packages make a nice surprise.
Just so a person knows their
Friends are friends for life--
And never takes them for granted.
And will do the same for them any time.
