GOD'S ALWAYS THERE

When friends and family are too busy to listen
To you talk through you worries and fears--
Talk to God about it all,
He always hears.

When you are down and discouraged,
And need reassurance and encouragement--
Talk with God and hear what He says:
He will give you both, and love that's Heaven sent.

He knows our world's a mess,
With so much violence and hatred.
It's not His fault--He gave humans free will--
That they used bad judgement is an understatement.

Every human needs to take responsibility
For their own actions--good or bad.
I'm not talking about terrorists taking credit
For killing and bombing in other lands.

Whenever you need Him, God is always
Near.  He'll shelter you in His loving arms
And wipe away your tears.  He'll protect you
From the devil and his arsenal of harm.

God is never too busy to answer
When you call.  He always wants the best
For you--of that you can be sure.
With God by your side, your soul is at rest.
