Situations in the world
And in our lives today,
Make us feel we are in
The midst of storms always.
Terrorists killing people around
The world out of hatred--
The danger they pose to all
Cannot be under rated.
The economy is shaky, leaders
Cutting state budgets to the bone.
People losing jobs and needed income--
Trying desperately to keep their homes.
People out for walks or drives,
End up being stabbed or shot.
Even sleeping children killed in
Their beds by a stray gunshot.
Someone you love passes
Unexpectedly, or your health
Is not good--causes turmoil and
Pain no matter what your wealth.
Through all these storms,
There is one sure thing--
God is always with you, His
Love is a rock to which you can cling.
