MY MIND'S GARDEN

In the garden of my mind,
There are flowers everywhere.
I have no asthma or allergies--
So I can breathe in the scented air.

Different varieties of flowers--
In every imaginable hue,
From the brightest fuscia,
To the deepest, darkest blue.

Every color of the rainbow,
Or in a crayon box--
Roses, Glads, Violets,
Peonies and Hollyhocks.

Morning Glories, Tulips and Iris,
Every blossom you can think of.
From everywhere in the world,
Well cared for and well loved.

A beautiful spectacle--
That alas, only I can see.
For the garden is in my mind,
My imagination is the key.
