Spring

Trees start to bud, flowers raise
Through the ground,
Faces to the sun.  Warmer weather,
The music of birds singing a beautiful sound.

Grass turning green, Stays
Light outside later--
New clothes for Easter Sunrise Service,
Egg hunts and candy--no need to cater.

Chocolate sugar rush kids love,
Parents not so much--pictures with the
Easter Bunny, some smiling, some crying.
Severe storms pop up--thunder and lightening.

Time off from school
Called "Spring Break"--
Some students see how much
Mischief they can make.

It's a time when the earth
Shows a renewal of life--
Just as we renew our souls
When we accept Jesus Christ.
