Hush little baby,
Don't you fear.
You're not alone--
Mama is here.

Mama will dry your tears
And sing a lullaby.

Mama's gonna rock you
In my arms, cuddle you
And love you, and keep
You safe and warm all nite thru.

Keep you fed and give
You nice warm baths--
As you grow, the
Water you'll splash.

Change your diapers,
And dress you in clean clothes.
Take you to the Dr.
When you need to go.

I'll make you laugh,
And help you learn.
I'll be kind, but when
You're naughty--I'll be firm.

Teach you the difference
Between right and wrong--
And that abusing others
In life does not belong.

I will teach you about
Faith--in God and yourself.
To use your mind--
Not leave it on a shelf.

It's bedtime now.
