Anyone can be beautiful on the
Outside--that's just a mix of good
Genes and maybe the work of a
Plastic surgeon in the neighborhood.
True beauty comes from inside:
Your giving heart, nurturing soul,
And random acts of kindness--that's
The beauty the eyes should behold.
If your beauty is only on the outside,
Your shallowness will come to light.
But if it comes from inside you,
It shines out big and bright.
I feel sad for those classified
As nothing but eye candy--
Some of them may be beautiful inside,
But no one gets past the physical to see.
